Content Disclaimer and Platform Notice
Last updated October 13, 2026
Openly Learning LLC (“Openly Learning,” “we,” or “us”) operates an online marketplace that connects independent educators with learners and their parents or guardians. Openly Learning acts only as a broker and platform provider. We provide the technology, scheduling, and payment services that let educators offer classes and learners enroll in them.
Independent educators
Educators on Openly Learning are independent providers, not employees, agents, or representatives of Openly Learning. Each educator is solely responsible for the content, materials, instruction, opinions, and conduct of their own classes. Openly Learning does not create, write, review in advance, or control the content of any class.
No endorsement
Listing a class or educator on Openly Learning does not mean Openly Learning endorses, approves, or agrees with the views, teachings, interpretations, or materials presented. Openly Learning does not necessarily agree with everything taught on the platform. Statements made by educators are their own and do not represent the positions of Openly Learning.
Responsibility for discernment
Parents, guardians, and adult learners are responsible for reviewing class descriptions, educator profiles, and course materials, and for deciding whether a class’s content is appropriate for themselves or their students. We encourage parents and guardians to stay involved in their children’s learning, to review materials, and to discuss what is being taught.
Limited screening
Openly Learning requires educators to complete an application and a background check before approval. This screening is limited in scope. It is not a guarantee of any educator’s qualifications, teaching quality, accuracy, beliefs, or future conduct.
Our right to act
Although Openly Learning does not control class content, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any class, content, or educator from the platform. This includes content we find inappropriate, harmful, or inconsistent with Openly Learning’s Christian values or community standards. Exercising or not exercising this right does not make Openly Learning responsible for any class content.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Openly Learning is not liable for any claim, loss, or damage arising from the content of any class or from the statements, materials, or conduct of any educator.
